Menopause / Peri-Menopause
Chinese medicine treatments reduce irritating symptoms of menopause & peri-menoapuse.
Menopause refers to the absence of menstruation for a period of one year. This often occurs in women between the ages of 41 and 55 years old.
Perimonepause is the time preceding the end of menstruation, and can often be 2-5 years before the cessation of mensturation. During this time period ovulation may still occur, although hormone production begins to decline and menstruation becomes increasingly irregular. Hormones to stimulate the follicles start to rise and symptoms associated with menopause can begin to appear.
Chinese medicine treatments assist the body in balancing hormones to decrease the symptoms often associated with menopause. When the body is balanced there are often no symptoms, or very few symptoms to manage.
Typical Menopause Symptoms Include:
- Hot flashes, night sweats
- Insomnia, sleep disturbances

- Memory lapse, poor concentration
- Vaginal dryness, changes in libido

- Joint pain, muscle pain, back pain
- Headaches
- Weight gain
- Changes in hair quality, aging skin
- Lack of energy
- Depression and/or anxiety
- Palpitations
- Irregular Menstruation, anovulation
If you suffer from any of these conditions... Chinese medicine can help!
