Acupuncture Overview
Acupuncture is a pain free, effective, natural and increasingly popular form of health care being used for a wide range of conditions.
Acupuncture is a common therapy used within the healing system of Oriental medicine. Acupuncture works to restore balance within the body and “reset” the normal body functions. When the needles are inserted into the body, it sends signals to the brain to help self regulate and initiate the body’s own healing systems.
With continuing research we are beginning to understand more about how acupuncture works… but there is still much that we do not yet understand. It is still gaining popularity and acceptance because of the fact that it works, and shows successful results. At Tree of Life Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine, we use several acupuncture techniques to relieve pain and other symptoms.
